The king is relieved at Usato and Suzune’s safe return but worries about recent monster behavior. He orders Rose to check on the Demon Lord's army.

An unsettled Usato tries to find the fox girl to ask about the prophetic vision. During the night, Kazuki visits Usato and admits his fear.

Rose's flashback continues. An incensed Nero magically strengthens himself and his demonic warriors, overpowering the knights under Rose's command.
