Lloyd meets the adventurer Yui and her party. After acing his entry test, he learns that their previous white mage left to care for her sick sister.

Lloyd and his new companions accept a job slaying a group of monsters attacking a distant farm. Along the way, they encounter a fearsome basilisk.

Gradually strengthening their bonds of friendship, the party members arrive at the farm — only to be confronted by a staggering number of High Wolves.

Realizing they have fallen into a trap, Lloyd and his party hurry back to warn the citizens of Ishtar but detect a demonic presence along the way.

Allen and his party prepare to defend against the incoming threat. Meanwhile, Lloyd and Kureha head out to face the horde of monsters head-on.
