The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten

High schooler Amane comes down with a cold after lending his umbrella to his pretty classmate and neighbor Mahiru, who decides to help him recover.

When Mahiru brings Amane a side dish as thanks for treating her sprained ankle, he says something that sparks a discussion about cooking arrangements.

Much to Amane's chagrin, his mother suddenly shows up at his apartment. She discovers Mahiru hiding in his room and believes that the two are dating.

During Amane's Christmas party, his friends learn about his arrangement with Mahiru. The next day, he teaches her how to play video games as promised.

Mahiru falls asleep at Amane's place on New Year's Eve. Later, Amane's parents take them out for the traditional first shrine visit of the year.

On Valentine's Day, Mahiru gives Amane some hot chocolate. She then tries to work up the courage to tell him something but runs off in embarrassment.

Amane lets Itsuki stay at his apartment for a few days while Chitose decides to stay with Mahiru. Later, Mahiru opens up to Amane about her family.

At the start of a new academic year, Amane gets placed in the same class as Mahiru, but he still doesn't interact with her much while at school.

Mahiru asks Amane to go out together during the Golden Week holiday. While having fun at a mall, they’re surprised when Yuta suddenly approaches them.

Amane tells Mahiru why he started living alone. The next day, Mahiru's classmates ask her about a rumor that she was seen at the mall with a guy.
