You and I Are Polar Opposites

The peppy yet self-conscious Suzuki has a crush on Tani, who is calm but outspoken. One day, they find themselves walking home from school together.

Now a couple, Suzuki and Tani go on their first date. However, Suzuki's desire to make a good impression causes her to make a mess of it.

Suzuki and Tani's relationship gradually becomes known to their classmates. When Suzuki calls Tani cute, he can’t help but wonder what she means.

During a study session to prepare for final exams, Suzuki feels glad that Tani is growing closer with friends. Later, they go to a summer festival.

Intrigued by a smile from the shy Nishi, Yamada grows interested in her. After he suggests becoming friends, the two gradually grow closer.

Suzuki asks Yamada about his progress with Nishi. While going around the culture festival with Tani, Suzuki runs into her ex from middle school.

Despite growing closer to Yamada during the culture festival, Nishi is still easily flustered around him. Suzuki notices the vague mood between them.

As fall begins, Azuma worries about an ex-boyfriend who wants to get back in touch. Her relationship with Taira begins to change into something new.

Suzuki and Tani go on a museum date for Tani's birthday. They encounter some difficulties but still manage to share their feelings and grow closer.

The class goes on a field trip. After a classmate grills her about her relationship with Tani, Suzuki tells Azuma she wants to make progress with him.
